Not getting enough of the right nutrients in your diets can   increase  your  risk of developing chronic health conditions like breast cancer. Some of the vitamins needed which include Vitamin D and Iodine is important to reduce your chances of having the cancerous cell.  Iron deficiency can cause all sorts of health issues, from fatigue to headaches and shortage of blood. Iron rich food  can help boost your hemoglobin. Vitamin D deficiency is another one of the risk factors in breast cancer. A 2012 study published in the Indian Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism revealed that low vitamin D levels are a hallmark in women with breast cancer. Also it has been proven that the consumption of tea could be a risk factor.

  • Drinking Alcohol & Smoking:

Excessive alcohol consumption is known to increase the risk of breast cancer and other types of cancer too. The general recommendation — based on research on the effect of alcohol on breast cancer risk — is to limit yourself to less than 1 drink per day as even small amounts increase risk.Don't smoke. The risk increases with the amount of alcohol consumed. Compared with non-drinkers, women who have 1 alcoholic drink a day have a very small increase in risk. Those who have 2 to 3 drinks a day have about a 20% higher risk compared to women who don’t drink alcohol.

  • Being overweight or obese

An article on being overweight or obese described here indicates that being over weight posses  a high risk of having breast cancer.Weight might also have different effects on different types of breast cancer. For example, some research suggests that being overweight before menopause might increase your risk of triple-negative breast cancer. Therefore avoid too much food intake and balance your food intake with physical exercises. Be physically active. Physical activity can help you maintain a healthy weight, which, in turn, helps prevent breast cancer.
